Fera Science Limited (Fera), a leading provider of expert laboratory and field-based services in agriculture, food, and environment, welcomes the appointment of Dr Wolfhart Hauser as Chair of its Board succeeding Richard McCarthy CBE, who served as Chair for the for prior 5-year term.
Wolfhart Hauser brings many years of highly relevant experience to Fera. He started his professional journey in diverse research areas in Sports Medicine and Pharmacology/Toxicology, founded and lead the fast-growing international Testing and Inspection Business TUV Product Service. He became CEO of TUV SUD AG, and CEO of Intertek Group plc and Board member of several FTSE companies.
A recognised pioneer of the TIC sector (Testing, Inspection and Certification), he has a vast range of experience and innovation in leading successful international support services into multiple industry verticals internationally.
