With cutting-edge technology and a team of highly skilled scientists, Fera consistently delivers accurate, reliable, and timely results that help clients maintain regulatory compliance while building consumer trust.

Fera’s ground-breaking projects have driven industry change with notable initiatives including their collaboration with Defra on studying emerging novel protein sources, enhancing food authenticity and labelling. Another pivotal project is their involvement in the PATH-SAFE Programme, where they are piloting the development of a national surveillance network using advanced DNA-sequencing technology to detect and track foodborne pathogens and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) across the agri-food system. This work significantly strengthens food safety protocols, reducing the risk of foodborne illnesses and promoting public health.
