Aoife is passionate about developing a more resilient and sustainable agricultural sector that delivers for all. Aoife has worked internationally in SMEs, large global AgroChemical companies, academia and grower led research organisations to develop, register and promote the adoption of sustainable inputs (biopesticides and biostimulants) that help growers deliver more with less.
Aoife has managed crop protection & biostimulant field trials for over 20 years across Europe, the USA, Africa and Asia. As well as Regulatory Affairs Experience in EMEA and APAC regions, Aoife has collaborated to shape regulation at EU level: member of EBIC (European Biostimulants Industry Council - UK task force and European regulatory team; UK technical expert to the European committee for Plant biostimulants (CEN/TC 455 and ISO standard).
Aoife has also worked as a National Expert managing invasive, quarantine pest and disease outbreaks, including developing national action plans for forest pests.
Aoife has a BSc in Applied Ecology from University College Cork (Ireland), an MSc in Biological Crop Protection from Wye College (UK) and a PhD in Biological Control in Forestry from the National University of Ireland.
